I’ve been seeing a lot of people getting mad about Katseye Grammy nomination, and i’m a bit confused.
Does the backlash or criticism actually make sense?
Honestly i don’t really follow the Grammys that much, so I don’t really know how the whole nomination process works or what the usual standards are.
So I’m not sure whether Katseye truly deserves it or not.
But it seems like a lot of people are upset about it.
People comparing them to like Fifth Harmony, One Direction, NewJeans, or Blackpink, saying Katseye’s “impact” isn’t on that level yet.
Some even argue their chart performance isn’t that impressive, they don’t have a full album, haven’t done concerts, etc.
Basically “their impact or achievements not enough to deserve a Grammy nomination.”
So,does that criticism actually make sense?
I’m genuinely confused about this whole situation, what do you guys think?
Or maybe the Grammys are just doing what the Grammys always do being unpredictable and confusing.
Or are people just mad because Katseye got recognized faster than they expected?
