Do most K-pop fans know about the working conditions of idols?

Lately I’ve been thinking about how tough the K-pop industry seems for idols; like the long hours, strict diets, barely any freedom, and super intense contracts. I know every job under capitalism is exploitive as well, but this feels like a whole different level since idols are not just making capital, they are capital.

This begs the question: how much do fans actually know about this stuff?
