I have a streetwear brand where I also repurpose/customize soccer jerseys as it is a passion of mine. Previously I made a “Coreano Hermano” jersey for the Mexican and Korean community in LA, but for this one I wanted to dedicate it to my Korean heritage and to celebrate Son becoming a LAFC player! Traditionally Korean calligraphy is written vertically and from the right to the left. The bandana pattern that you see in the name/number is taken from a Korean flag I made from pieces of bandanas that I cut & sewn. That flag is also shown on the front of the jersey, and symbolizes my Korean American immigrant background.
