Cortis’s Interview got me thinking about language in K-pop

I just finished watching Cortis’s interview with Zane Lowe, and my God, I was so happy to see that all of them speak English! Whenever I watch K-pop interviews where only a few members don’t speak the language, I can’t help but imagine how tedious and uncomfortable it must be to sit through a 30–40 minute interview without understanding half of what’s being said, yet still having to stay alert just in case they’re asked something. I know trainee days are already a nightmare, but I really wish K-pop companies offered English classes to their idols, especially now that K-pop is more global, so they at least have a general understanding. Anyways, what are your thoughts?
