I want to bring this up calmly and respectfully, because I think it’s important .
Lately, a lot of discussions around Cortis seem to turn into constant mocking — especially targeting Martin & Keonho — along with solo stan fights and, in some cases, even outright threats. That goes way beyond normal criticism or disagreement.
It’s totally fine to dislike an artist, a project, or certain decisions. Criticism is part of any fandom. But repeatedly making fun of individuals, fueling fan wars, or sending threats (even “as a joke”) isn’t criticism — it’s harassment.
What worries me is that this kind of behavior doesn’t just hurt the people involved, it also makes the fandom space exhausting and unwelcoming for everyone else who just wants to discuss music/art without drama.
I’m not trying to attack any specific group or start another stan war. I just think we should be able to disagree without crossing lines, and maybe reflect on whether the way we’re talking about people is actually necessary or fair.
Curious to hear others’ thoughts.
