BTOB announced the release date of their next single! Yay! It’s a bright spot in my world, and I thought I would just share this so you all could anticipate the release too. Nov 25th.
I struggled with one of the reviews and didn’t get as many done that day as I was intending to, so I’ve gotten myself behind. I apologize. I will catch up, if for no other reason than tomorrow and the 25th will both have a metric ton of releases.

The music show wins for the last week can be found here. Neither MCountdown nor The Show had winners. Aron talked about his hangout with the others on ASC and I haven’t heard the audience members laugh at the MCs doing the challenge like that in a while. It was cute. And ONE PACT is funny.

BATTLE OF THE B-SIDES Jin “Heart on the Window”
Three covers popped up on my radar this week. First was actually Seungmin’s cover of the 2NE1 song “Missing You” (which just had its eleven year anniversary, actually). Unfortunately, I didn’t see until after I’d already written the post that day, so I was determined to include it this time. He’s got such a nice timbre to his voice. Next one to show up for me was Minhyuk’s cover of Kenshi Yonezu’s song “Lady”, where he once again flexed his point about being a rapper because he likes to rap, not because he can’t sing. I’ll have to share the video with my cat eventually. He loves Minhyuk’s voice. It’s weird. And lastly, this one actually dropped this morning, but the band Catch the Young released a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.” They’ve actually released a lot of English song covers over the past couple of years, even before they debuted, and I really like the tone of their voices when they’re doing this kind of song.
I also got my first Battle of the B-Sides request from u/Confident_Yam_6386 ! I hope I did that correctly, as requested. This was for one of the b-sides from Jin’s debut album and was, hilariously, the only one of them that I hadn’t already listened to. Every time I tried to sit down and listen to the album, I’d get pulled away or get distracted for that song only, so this actually made a good excuse for me to have to listen to it. Thank you for that! And also thank you for the request!
This will be a shorter post here just because I have to get back to the reviews, because I’m a dingbat and behind now. If I missed anything, or if you’d like to see a specific review for either a Greatest Hits or a BBS track, let me know. Or a title track from within the last two years.
