It genuinely amazes me how openly xenophobic and racist people especially in Kpop spaces are towards namjoon? Mocking his body, speech etc, the amount of asian stereotypes used to hate on this man is disgusting doing so while stanning asians and koreans at that. Do they think these stereotypes won’t be used on their favs? Do they actually think their behaviour towards this korean man doesn’t contribute to asian hate in general? While yes we can have a conversation about how “armys are sooo toxic” i believe its a tired overly exaggerated conversation, yes armys are toxic so is every other fandom on this planet. What bothers me the targeted hate and harassment this one man receives simply for existing, he never harmed anyone or wished for harm towards anyone, yes he might’ve made some mistakes as a teenager/YA but he grew up, apologised? Even that is a drag according to these people? Do these stans think people are born perfect? They have never made mistakes or held wrong beliefs? All of us have had things we had to unlearn and grow how is that a drag?
