I’m a little late, but I heard Imaginary Friend playing in the background of someone’s livestream a few days ago, and I had to know what song it was. I must say, Imaginary Friend is an unreal song/choreography!! I did not know ITZY had that in them!
From the elegant choreography, to the musical/lyrical composition and the powerful vocal tones, this song is literally perfect. It really shocked me!
I even watched the whole 1 hour behind the vocal recording YT video of the mini album, and their ability to hone in on their vocal technique/pitch is pretty much flawless.
I’ve always liked a few of ITZY’s songs/comebacks, but I think Imaginary Friend is such a breath of fresh air for ITZY and even kpop in general.
It’s so stupid how vital marketing and promotion is for media to be heard and truly appreciated, and clearly ITZY is somehow the neglected stepchild of that. Sad to see such perfection go so unnoticed compared to other groups, but I truly appreciate their dedication to the craft. This art speaks for itself.
