How to show gratitude to Koreans

My American grandparents lived in Korea for about 25 years. He died recently, and the people from the local Korean church here in the US and the Koreans from the school where he taught in Korea were SO good and generous to my family (writing poems and books about him, feeding everyone, etc). I’m not sure how to show appreciation and was hoping for any recommendations. I was thinking of donating to the university for a worthy student’s tuition, but I don’t really have much to give and I don’t want to be tacky. Thank you for any insight. My grandpa always said, “You can’t out-give a Korean,” but I want to show appreciation.
