I’ll probably never be able to attend Jungkook’s solo concert either, whenever that happens. Atleast for the next ten years or so, it is simply impossible for me, I think. Kpop tours never include my country (we simply do not have the infrastructure for it) and especially for a group as batshit popular as BTS, them coming to my home country seems a bit of a reach now.
But I have always enjoyed JK’s sort of very generous singing lives because I adore his voice and he always covers a range of songs, including their BTS discography and it is always such a pleasure to hear him perform! I do NOT take it for granted and yesterday was such a treat that it reminded me of how fun last year was with his constant lives and unrestrained noraebang-ing.
I realise that there are many in the same boat as me and I know the fandom really enjoys his lives but I have lots of added appreciation and respect for JK for doing his live concerts! He doesn’t have to, he’s getting nothing out of it but he does it anyway. Maybe because he knows how much we enjoy it and yeah he enjoys himself as well but it’s still such a cool thing to do! I hope we get many such lives once he’s returned!
