Blackpink has set another streaming milestone, as their digital single JUMP crossed 300 million plays on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform.
The track, released on July 11, reached the mark in just 80 days, making it the girl group’s 19th song to top 300 million streams and the fastest ever by a K-pop girl group to do so.
JUMP delivers a punchy beat and addictive chorus while showcasing a stylistic shift for the quartet. Upon release, it debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s weekly chart, giving Blackpink the record for the most No. 1 entries by a K-pop girl group. The song has since stayed on the chart for 11 consecutive weeks, underscoring its enduring global appeal.
The single’s momentum extends beyond Spotify. In the US, JUMP continues its chart run on Billboard’s flagship Hot 100, where it has set the group’s longest streak with 10 consecutive weeks on the ranking. It has also maintained positions on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts during the same period.
Blackpink is on the road with their DEADLINE world tour, which spans 16 cities across the globe.
