Bibigo dumplings enters New Zealand food market

South Korea’s CJ CheilJedang Corp. announced on Wednesday that it will launch Bibigo dumplings at supermarket chains New World and PAK’nSAVE in New Zealand.

The products to be released are two types of dumplings: Bibigo Homestyle Pork Dumplings and Pork & Kimchi Dumplings.

These products have been available since this month in ethnic channels, including Korean groceries in Australia and New Zealand.

Starting in early September, they will be introduced in New World and PAK’nSAVE stores in Auckland, the largest city, with plans to expand to stores across New Zealand.

New World and PAK’nSAVE are the most prominent supermarket chains in New Zealand, with over 200 locations nationwide. This is expected to boost the visibility and consumer accessibility of Bibigo K-Food.

CJ CheilJedang is expanding its product portfolio in Australia, launching CJ High-Protein Crispy Chips and Bibigo Spring Rolls at Costco starting this month.
