Ask to local : K-beauty & wellness shops info in Korea (facials, scalp spas, massages, etc.)

I’m a local Korean(graduate student) who regularly visits aesthetic/spa/skincare/clinic spots.
I see lots of travelers and residents swapping tips here, so for the next!!

So I think it would be very helpful if I share my tips for foreigners who are seeking for the info,
I’ll share what I know — purely non-commercial!

  • No ads, no affiliations, no commissions.
  • Focus: non-medical beauty & wellness (aesthetic facials, scalp spas, skincare, spa/massage).
    • Not medical advice; no plastic-surgery or medical clinic recs.
    • Maybe, sharing medical clinics or spots info. would be not allow to Koreans.
  • If this doesn’t fit the rules, happy to adjust or remove.

How to ask (leave a comment with):

  1. City/Neighborhood (e.g., Seoul – Gangnam)
  2. Service (e.g., scalp spa, facial, aromatherapy massage)
  3. Budget (e.g., ₩70–120k)
  4. Date/Time window (e.g., Sat evening)
  5. Other factors that you want to know

Example request:

Seoul – Gangnam | Scalp spa | ₩70–120k | Sat evening | English/Japanese translator needed.

What I’ll reply with:

  • 2–3 options
  • How to book –> If you need any help to make a reservation through me, I can help you!
  • Watch-outs (common up-sells, deposit/refund quirks)

If this proves useful, I’ll post a compiled summary for everyone. Fire away. 🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️
Again, If this doesn’t fit the rules, happy to adjust or remove.
