Lack of empathy and lack of self curiosity — both indispensable qualities needed of an acting career
First of all, I’ll say this. She can’t take responsibility nor is there a way to even do that. Also I don’t think it’s fair for people to purely hate on her or call her names.
I simply think she is disqualified for a career that requires (like a lot of great actors said) deep introspection and proactive learning of this world. If she lack self curiosity for where she comes from, what shaped her perspective of the world and her family (especially if she had revered them so much) as a 33 yo, I’m skeptical of her ability to deliver what she’s asked of her roles.
I think she needs to spend some time learning about herself. It’s not the time for her to learn some kdrama roles when she doesn’t know her own family, their philosophy, how it may have impacted her, and develop her own perspective around it. And how she’d interpret roles and multidimensionality in the future.
Do that for 2-3 years. She can come back to acting then, but not now.
