Visited (dine-in) over weekend and it was fantastic – food, service and ambience. “Seoul-street style food”. Yum!
I want to go back and bring half a dozen friends with me but I need clarification on a few things so that I don’t insult the culture and/or make an a$$ of myself.
The spice level on their food reads medium/spicy/very spicy. I usually get med so didn’t think about it.
But some of the friends I want to take don’t do spicy. Would it be insulting to ask to have some foods mild?
The somaek tower: I really want to get this for my next visit (never had one before). Looks like great fun. lol
But some of my friends are light drinkers and reluctant because they googled soju and think it’s going to be like vodka added to it and knock us all out.
I read that it’s much lower alcohol content than vodka so might be okay. Any options here without it, again, being insulting?
Also, google also says the ratio is 1 part soju; 2 parts beer so I may try it at home for my friends first. Any recs on brands of soju/beer?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
