Mackerel at Korean restaurant in New Jersey

I wasn’t a big fan od mackerel until I had it at this Korean restaurant. The skin is crackle and crispy and the inside is oily and delicious. There seems to be subtle seasoning on the outside. I’ve had this over the years and tried grilled mackerel at other Korean restaurants and at home – nowhere else seems to get this same texture or taste as good. I’ve tried at home, even finishing with a torch (after air fryer) but it doesn’t come out quite right. Does anyone have any ideas or know how to get grilled mackerel like this? Is there some ponzu seasoning? Is cast iron pan the key?
