I bought the bag of mixed rice at the Korean grocery store because I wanted to try making the Korean purple rice, but when I got home I saw it had no cooking instructions that I could tell. I know this is a mixed grain rice, but I don’t know how I’m supposed to cook with it. I’ve seen some say japgokbap (if that’s this) needs to be soaked overnight before cooking and others say mix in white rice. I was hoping to cook it in a rice cooked, but even my translator app doesn’t seem to show much. Has anyone used this and able to tell me how to prepare this? submitted by /u/Useful_Potato_1305 |
