Was just thinking about if I were able to pick one member from up to seven kjx-pop groups (I like Korean, Japanese and “global” groups all the same) and form my own super group, who would it be. Most of them would be my favorites from these various group, but not in every case. Some I picked because I thought they either filled a need in the group or otherwise somehow fit better:
Cocona (XG) – Best rapper in pop in my opinion. Cocona’s dancing is also elite. (I know I’m cheating the “girl group” part, but I’d make an exception for them.)
Asa (Babymonster) – Second only to Cocona in rapping, epic charisma and aura. One of my favorites in all of kpop.
Chika (Hana) – Singing, aura, unique look. Total package and another of my overall favorites.
Yeji (Itzy) – Singing, dancing and top tier looks.
Soyeon (i-dle) – Toughest choice among the groups, between her and Yuqi. Yuqi is my favorite in i-dle, but Soyeon brings a greater value with so many talents and has a very unique voice. I love Yuqi’s deep voice, but Soyeon’s is more unique.
Bailey (ADP) – Unmatched dancing, growing as a vocalist. Also brings a unique skill to contribute as a native English speaker.
Gahyeon (Dreamcatcher) – I know she’s not actively singing anymore, but this is all a fantasy thought exercise anyway heh. Unique vocals being from a rock group. This was another really difficult decision, between Gahyeon and Siyeon.
(Some honorable mentions I wanted to include, but I tend not to like when groups go over seven: Jennie (Blackpink, one of my favorites but I think she’s better as a solo act), Ningning (Aespa), Natty (Kiss of Life), Ella (Meovv))
