you know the feeling.
a group that you like breaks up and now the members are going solo. ‘oh what fun’ you think after you’ve stopped crying your eyes out ‘my ults were totally being held back by their horrible company who didn’t let them have input in their music and now they have the chance to shine!’
and then your ult spends their career releasing songs that could cure insomnia with mvs where they don’t even look like they’re having fun.
is it a case of your very talented ult not having any musical taste or them becoming the company, holding themselves back to make songs that fit market trends in order to reach some success? probably a bit of both honestly.
it’s getting to the point when i just assume that my ults will make mid from the moment that disbandment post is sent and wish them on their merry way until i‘m proven wrong which i always welcome.
like why can’t an ex girl group member join a death metal band or something why’s it always gotta be the same fluffy cream cardigan in a flower based room music with them.
