None of the bags of red pepper said “gochugaru” on them at H-Mart. Did I get a different pepper or is that a name mostly used for western branding?

Perhaps a silly question, but I’m curious – my local H-mart has a great selection of ingredients for which I occasionally have to use a translation app to double-check I’m buying the right thing. I was kind of surprised that none of the red pepper powders in what was clearly the red pepper section had the word “gochugaru” on them. The packet I ended up getting ended up looking and smelling like the gochugaru I’m used to, but I’m just curious about the naming conventions in Korea-market products vs western.
