are “handsome/tomboy” female idols aware of their popularity among their lgbtq fans?

when female idols show a masculine side or dress masculinely (ie. ryujin or kazuha’s “standing next to you” covers, sohyun of tripleS), do they do it for their female fans? like, obviously it’s some sort of fan service, but do they do it for/are they aware of their lgbtq fans? and on the flip side, are male fans not attracted to these masculine idols? like, what’s the point of contributing to something so inherently sapphic if most of korea treats lgbtq as a taboo topic?
