I’ve seen only a few episodes of it, but here are my impressions.

I felt Jeongyeon, Nayeon and Jihyo were going to debut. Their skills seemed more rounded and with the exception of Jihyo, both had really good confidence on stage, especially Nayeon.

Jeongyeon was the most stable singer, so much so that I thought her position would be the main vocal (not Jihyo).

Mina’s talent and confidence really surprised me. Given that she was quiet and very pretty, I wrongly assumed she would be shy and less talented than she was. I’m not proud of thinking that way, and I’m glad I was wrong. My stoning shall be at dawn first thing tomorrow.

I was surprised Somi didn’t debut with Twice. I was absolutely positive she was going to, largely for her personality. She would be the “Entertainer” member. (I think new gens these days don’t have that position…sorry kids, hag here. The entertainer is just an extroverted member who would lead in variety shows and such (big promotion activity back then) and attract fans with his/her charms and humour).

Dahyun took me by surprise. Nothing wrong with her, it’s just nothing about her stood out to me imo.

Momo getting kicked off (temporarily) shocked me as well because she was obviously going to be main dancer.

Sana, she was cute and funny but I thought her talents would have held her back (obviously I was dead wrong).

Tzuyu was another surprise as I thought they had already gotten their visual with Mina. Obviously JYP knew his idolling because she’s one of the most popular members now.
If you’re interested in Twice but haven’t seen the show, I recommend you put it on. Certain things managed to surprise me despite already knowing the outcome.
