ETA, a popular song by NewJeans, has topped 400 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, despite a lack of concerts by the K-pop girl group amid a legal battle against its label.
The song has been streamed 400.1 million times on Spotify as of Oct. 5, according to ADOR, a sublabel of South Korea’s entertainment powerhouse HYBE Co., on Tuesday.
ETA, known for its fast-paced and intense beat, is one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans’ second mini-album Get Up, released in 2023.
NewJeans now has a total of seven songs, including ETA, which have surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify. Among them, OMG and Ditto have exceeded 800 million streams each, while Super Shy and Hype Boy have topped 700 million, respectively.
All songs by NewJeans have surpassed 6.7 billion streams on Spotify so far their debut in 2022.
The five-member group last performed a concert in Hong Kong in March under the name NJZ and announced an indefinite hiatus following a South Korean court ruling that favored their agency ADOR.
