I have an unopened packet of Tteok (Korean rice cakes) with a “Best Before” date of 06/19/2025. I stored them in a kitchen cabinet (at room temperature) and I’m now wondering if they would have been better off in the refrigerator and, more importantly, if they are still safe to eat.
