송편 - How did I do ? 즐거운 한가위 되세요

Just made some 송편 as this is the 추석 weekend in Korea. The bottom of the 송편 has pine needles, and 2 두릅 leaves make the accents on the side of the dish.

The inside is filled with sweetened sesame seeds.

Here is what we used to make the 송편 colors.

Green – 쑥 – home grown and dried, then mad into a powder

Yellow – 단호박 – Sweet squash – Very yellow

pink – 오미자 – Five flavor berry (gives a pinkish orange)

purple/blue- 흑미 (black rice ~ actually purple blue due to anthocyanins)

Result was very tasty!
