Hello,
I’ll get straight to point.
A month ago, NAVER sent me an email stating that due to 2 years of inactivity, they will deactivate my account after 30 days. I had no problem with that because I have no use of it anyway.
Fast forward to 30 days later, I received another email from NAVER. They said that the ‘log in with my phone number feature’ has been disabled. I was confused. The thing is, the email was sent EXACTLY 30 days after the first email, so I thought it was just a normal thing that NAVER does when they deactivate accounts, but I could not find any credible source that stated so.
Unfortunately, I forgot the information associated with the NAVER account (as well as if it was verified or not) except for the linked email address and your asterisk-ed username they provide you in their emails, resulting in failed attempts of recovering the account.
Here are my questions: 1. Has my NAVER account actually been deactivated? Was that just part of their process of deactivating NAVER accounts? 2. If possible, is there any other way I can recover the account?
Thank you in advance.
