Former history lecturer Mr. Jeon Han-Gil, who recently joined People’s Power Party, announced he will not run in the party convention, saying “I will revive the ruined PPP as a grassroot member”. Mr. Jeon, appearing in the Channel A radio show “Politics Signal” [정치시그널], said “Due to my popularity when I appear in the asphalt right-wing, some suspect that I’m trying to run as a candidate and become PPP senator or party representative, but I am a consistent man”, announcing “I don’t have half a mind of doing so”. Then, he said “I, like admiral Yi Sun-Shin, will fight as a common rank”, emphasizing “I will exercise my work as a grassroot member”. And he said, “Soon, there is a grassroots assembly tomorrow or the next day, and I will lead it”, further criticizing “PPP owners are party members, not the MPs. These days PPP MPs don’t represent the political opinions of the grassroots”. Especially he said “As the left-wing (error: liberals) had Kaettal [개딸 / Lee Jae-Myung fandom], I have an idea of creating “right-wing Kaettal” among the right-wing. I will make hundreds of thousands.” And he emphasized, “My vision is that the grassroots will unite and lead the bottom-up representative nominations”. However, he announced that “Yet, I will exercise my power to influence the candidates who can meet our demands”, saying “First, I will ask the candidates whether they will still turn their back against Yoon Suck-Yeol or come together”. And, he said, “I will definitely support the candidate who comes together”, “If a pro Han Dong-Hoon candidate wins, they will continue dissolving PPP. So I will support pro-Yoon candidate after the unity is guaranteed”. Finally, he called Han Dong-Hoon, former PPP representative, as “Someone who must not be in PPP”, arguing “Actually, the one most responsible for the establishment of Lee Jae-Myung cabinet is Han Dong-Hoon.
