Thoughts about not listening to Kpop in the future

I became a fan of kpop around November of last year and with me already having a diverse playlist on Spotify adding in music from Korea was so cool and once I saw Whiplash on YouTube by aespa it began a wave of researching, listening and finding fellow Aussies in groups like stray kids and new jeans and it has been a lot of fun.

So the question im asking is I feel embarrassed and ashamed about listening to kpop now that I found out about south Koreas I guess you can say unrealistic view on beauty standards and the rise of unfortunate deaths of kpop idols in the past due to toxic fans online harassment and it all seems to relate to kpop and also kpop is going more global but I do get some eyebrows rised when they catch me listening to kpop, but I can’t resist not listening to kpop there’s nothing else quite like it

I’m interested in hearing everything yous have to say
