Teokk went wrong, accidently made dough that looks like mochi dough, what to do?

I tried making home made teokk but even though I followed instructions to the T from maangchi website it still turned out like mochi, its overcooked and yellowish and so sticky and its basically mochi and I don’t know what to do bc I’ve done it twice, both the steaming and microwave method. It didnt look like any of the steps at any point I also just do not know what to do with all this sticky dough now, do i try and make mochi or some kind of dumpling? Bc i feel like ive just wasted a kg of rice flour.
