Do you clean your items before selling them second-hand?

This might just be my experience, but whenever I buy used items from FB Marketplace or Craigslist from non-Asian sellers, they’re often filthy. I know they’re used, so I don’t expect them to be pristine, but I thought it was common courtesy to at least wipe things down before handing them off. For example, today I got a pet carrier from FB, and while there were no stains, the bottom was covered in cat hair—there was no sign of any effort to clean it. In my family, we always clean things before giving them to someone. Am I being too picky, or do you guys also skip cleaning your items before selling them second-hand?
