I have only been into kpop since 2020 so i’m not sure how it was like before that so maybe i’m wrong. I’m not an army but I was in 2020 and now it’s kind of a thing for kpop fans to hate on bts, i’m sure it’s mostly because of the bad reputation their fan base has. But in the future maybe a couple years from now? i’m sure they won’t have as many weird fans (I think the amount has definitely already gone down since they all went to the military) In my opinion their older music is miles better than anything they’ve released recently, I love love their old songs before 2017 ish? They were probably some of the best produced kpop songs of this generation. But we all know they started kind of pandering to the International market, i’m not saying it’s a bad thing just stating what obviously happened. Good for them I guess for getting the grammy nominations and billboard hits, I think it’s stupid to deny their impact and popularity. But like I said most newer kpop fans now aren’t into bts and actively hate on them. I’m just wondering do you guys think kpop fans will forget about how hated they are and appreciate their hit songs in the future like they do now with 2nd gen groups? this might be a stupid question but i’ve just been thinking about it.
