(This isn’t about the idol themselves. More so about the characters they play) I’ve watched a few dramas that idols starred in with my first one having Cha Eunwoo of Astro be the lead playing as himself. However due to how the storyline goes with the character an idol plays, I cannot bring myself to continue/start the show or if I like their character enough or find them very interesting, it makes me want to look more into the group. My examples for this is Jinyoung from Got7 playing the second love interest in the drama “Yumi’s Cells”. I really wanted the main character to stay with the first love interest but she instead dated Jinyoung’s character in the second season and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it (the funny thing is he’s my bias). The example for the other question is Yohan from WEi and Nagyung from fromis_9. Yohan played the main lead in “School 2021” and I loved his character so much and it made me want to know more about him which lead to me finding out about WEi. Nagyung played the antagonist in the drama “Shadow Beauty”. Her character was so crazy and Nagyung did such a good job acting. Her being in the drama helped me find out more about her group as I knew who they were thanks to them singing the chorus to their song “Fun” I think. I just wanted to know if someone has ever had this type of experience before and thought it would be a fun topic for discussion
