This is only pertaining to me and how I feel.
Before, the kpop community was what made kpop fun. I loved being on twitter cause that’s where the kpop community was hottest.
I loved my account, the people I followed and the people that followed me. I loved stanning the groups I did. I loved the community the fandom I was in had created. A community that often came together for good causes. I will never talk too badly about my experience though because I have made lifelong friends on that forsaken app. Friends who turned out to live way closer to me than I would’ve thought. Friends on the other side of the world.
Now, the only way I can enjoy kpop is to distance myself from it and the fandoms in it.
I deactivated my old twitter account cause it just got to be too much. Everyday, it was always something. Kpop stans now accuse every other group of copying their concepts, songs, pictures, dances and whatnot and it’s just too fucking much. I had to make a new account where the only kpop related accounts I follow are my friends.
Nobody just vibes anymore and it’s so sad.
