GPT by StayC is actually a masterpiece??

I barely saw anything about this song here, didn’t see any buildup in promotions but just came across it on Seeun’s ig. I’m not a massive Stayc fan or anything but Stereotype is one of my favorite gg songs and after a lot of comebacks I didn’t feel as strongly about GPT feels like the perfect sequel to it. It stays integral to Stayc’s theme (that distinct techno-dreamcore sound idk how to phrase it) and is just overall such a charming and beautiful song. Tbf the intro kind of baited me, after hearing the intro I was expecting the most soul-crushingly beautiful song ever written but they did move away from that to a different (but still great) track. I know a lot of groups have been doing dreamcore this year but this is solidly my favorite take on the genre, it’s a perfect mixture of charming and sort of sentimental. I love the lyrics too, probably reading too much into this but with AI rising into normalcy in the industry the song just feels like a call for what’s natural. Was not really expecting anything from this release but somehow it’s risen into one of my favorite releases of the year. The B side is also great, really wish this was fleshed out into a full EP.
