The other day, I saw a video of a once saying that Twice was no longer the top 3 most streamed bands from JYP (I think that’s what they said) and they also said things to hate on the fandom, telling all the onces that they’re lazy for not streaming enough and that Stays were right when they said they’re better than once.
I thought it was weird, so I entered the comments and I saw many comments like “Always hate once, always love twice” and comments of YOUNG GIRLS (probably girls who have school) saying that they didn’t have time, and people replied to those comments telling those girls that they should still do it because “every one has free time and should use it on streaming.” Since I thought it was still weird, I commented that it wasn’t necessary at all to insult people for not using their time on it, and that no one is a better or worse fan for not streaming, and one specific comment said something like “Yes, you do. If you’re a real fan, it’s mandatory to stream because if you don’t, you’re a fake fan because you’re not supporting your favs.” (They deleted the comment, but that’s kind of what they said)
This got me thinking for a while, and I’m not making this post to fight (bc I know every one has different opinions) I just really need to hear the opinion from people who can ACTUALLY be respectful, since most people who replied were really rude. I personally think it’s not mandatory to do it, and I don’t think anyone is a fake fan for not doing it. I’d appreciate hearing others’ opinions, thanks!
