LUV was released on November 24th, 2014; completing the first holy trinity with No No No and Mr. Chu. jk, the majority of their title tracks are bops. and the bsides from Pink Luv are good too; my favs are I’m Not an Angel and Once Upon a Time.
LUV (L.O.V.E LUV!!) dominated the music shows in December 2014 and added two more wins in January 2015 (tweet) (wiki entry), the last one being the January 10th. What’s crazy is that they could have won more but Show Champion wasn’t broadcasting in December and M Countdown/The Show wasn’t broadcasting either for four shows. The song went up against releases from Nicole, EXiD, Lovelyz, Infinite F, GD x Taeyang, Hyolyn x Jooyoung, Kyuhyun, etc to win 17 music show trophies!

I haven’t been into Apink lately, but I thought I’d give Apink and “Luv” their flowers. First, Luv still holds the record for a girl group song. The competition with 4th-generation gg is strong, but Apink is still here. Also, Apink for existing, their longevity, and being one of the few 2nd gen groups still around, performing at festivals, and releasing music. While we’re out at it, here’s their Killing Voice video (only wish Naeun was part of it..). They just held their 7th concert in Korea.
