Isn’t it funny how Yunjin (LSF) and Seventeen ended up under the same company again?

So the timeline as I understand it is this:

2015: Seventeen debuts under Pledis Entertainment, home of Hello Venus, NU’EST, After School and their subunit Orange Caramel, Pristin (mismanaged) and fromis_9 (horribly mismanaged).

2017: Yunjin moves back to Korea and becomes a trainee under Pledis

2018: She participates in Produce 48, the survival show that made Iz*One, and finishes 26th. I think she bounces around companies instead of going back to Pledis? Including Source Music, home of GFriend. And eventually moves back to the US.

2020: Hybe buys Pledis Ent. and Source Music.

2021: Source gives Yunjin a call and she comes back to Korea to debut in Le Sserafim.

2022: On Hybe Game Caterers, Yunjin debuts her own version of Candy by HOT called “I’m Shameless” as sung and encouraged by variety king Seungkwan, backup dancer Minghao, and admired by Dino. She doesn’t win the random dance–TXT Soobin wins the hearts of Seventeen and fromis_9 Seoyeon wins the game– but she won my heart <3 /j

This is really just a shower thought I had. I doubt she ever spoke to the Seventeen members when she was a Pledis trainee and I don’t think she knows them now. But it’s just funny to me how they all ended up under the same company. Truly come full circle.
