Hey everyone 🙂
I’m a native Korean and longtime K-pop fan, and I’ve always admired how passionate international fans are. But I’ve noticed that a lot of you struggle with writing comments in Korean, even when the message is heartfelt, it sometimes sounds too formal, robotic, or just slightly off from how native Koreans actually comment.
So I built a small tool called Popsy to help with that. You just type in English, pick a tone like “Casual (반말) and Polite (존댓말)” and it turns your message into natural Korean, the kind Koreans really use online. It even understands fan-specific terms like “Bunnies (버니즈)” and doesn’t awkwardly turn them into “토끼” (Korean word for “actual” bunnies).
It also explains why it translated that way, so you can learn as you go. The goal is to help you feel more confident jumping into Korean fan spaces, commenting like a native, and connecting more closely with both idols and fellow fans.
It’s a personal mini side project and completely free, but I’d love for you to try it and share your thoughts.
If there’s a specific feature you’d like it to support, let me know. Thank you!
