Can someone explain to me how tripleS have such a big fandom?

tripleS are one of the top selling 5th gen GGs rn. They outsold every single 5th gen group in 2025 except for H2H (barely at that). This year alone, they sold 500k albums with Assemble25 and over 350k in their recent release with Beyond Beauty. So it got me curious and I began to wonder how their songs performed on the Melon chart.

This was the result of their daily peak ranks of all their TTs and digital singles they’ve released as a full group/subunit since debut:

Rising #127
Generation #254
Cherry Talk #940
Touch+ outside top 1000
Cherry Gene outside top 1000
Girls’ Capitalism #422
Invincible #523
Just Do It outside top 1000
Door outside top 1000
Inner Dance #937
Girls Never Die #38
Hit the Floor #337
Are You Alive #211
Christmas Alone #877

For a group nearing their 3 year anniversary, these are not the best numbers. They have one song in their entire discography that entered Melon’s Top 100 daily chart. I don’t think I’ve ever come across another GG who is selling the way they do while not being able to resonate with the gp. In most cases, groups outside of the Big4 need to have good charting performance to really make a name for themselves. Is the avg. album purchase of an individual fan in their fandom just a lot higher than those of other groups?

I’m not trying to diminish the group, I’m just purely curious about this unique phenomenon that is tripleS. If someone could explain how they were able to amass such a big fandom without having a lot of success with their music, I’d greatly appreciate it.
